Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This past year my two older boys (then 5th and 6th grades)worked through Easy Grammar 56. This year I really want to work on writing with IEW S&S and History Links. I still want them to work on the Grammar. I was going to just get Daily Grams for them, but them I started to read some of the threads here. I really like the idea of Ruth Heller's books with the diagramming. Would this be enough grammar for the year with the writing that we are going to be working on? I am making up some study sheets from the Easy Grammar 56 so that they can refer back to that if they need.

Beth,

I think it is plenty. I follow Julie's philosophy from Bravewriter . She recommends grammar instruction 3 times. Once in elementary, once in middle and once in high school.
