Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

When you are working with your children, how often do you request narration?

Do you do it for every subject? Do you do it everday? If you were reading a novel, would you ask for narration after each chapter?

Thanks.

Yes, yes and yes

My 7 and 10yo's orally narrate everything we read. My 12yo reads from two subjects each day and orally narrates one and does a written narration for the other.

If we are all reading together, they take turns.

I wrote a little about how we do Picture Book Narrations, don't know if this is helpful or not, but enjoy!
