It had some good lists. But for our spelling now I just take words that either apply to other areas we are studying or words they commonly misspell. It doesn't go along obviously with any sort of phonics family...but it works for us. (Well...I'll be doubly honest, we have dropped spelling this year...we don't do it every year, because it is so boring! It's more of an every other year thing for us!)
