I can't find my copy of a Home Start in Reading or whatever it's called--the reading booklet in Ruth Beechick's 3 R's.

I know she has a simple test in there for determining whether a book is appropriate for a child (in difficulty, I mean)...if the child has more than x number of words per 100 (?) that she has trouble reading, then the book is too difficult. Can someone look this up in their copy and post it here?
