Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

There are some new ones out I found like bob but they will easily memorize them too. Try the step into reading series. You can find those at B&N and you can find some that are easy (step 1) and that aren't princess! That has been my challenge. My dd Grace told me she wanted to read real books and to her these are b/c they aren't the readers like bob ones. There is also another series but a little more advanced that is called I'm Going to Read!. They are nice but a little too much for my dd. They build up word banks more than do phonics. I'm hoping to get to these soon.

Primary Phonics books are very good beginning readers. You can scroll down the Our Father's House page (linked above) to learn more about them. Some libraries carry the books, too. I only use the first two sets with my children.

For early reader books, we've found it most worth while to get a dozen new books from the library each week!

I also like the Now I'm Reading! series by Nora Gaydos.
