Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Dh has been reading Babar's French Lessons to ds every night. Ds picks up quickly, and we're wondering other ways to introduce foreign languages to him.

I know Muzzy is one (expensive) way. Is 4 years old a bit old for that?

How about cds or more books to read? I'd like to HEAR proper pronunciations.

We can't really do immersion because neither of us are fluent in anything but English (and sometimes I question my ability there).

We've been discussing French on this thread. Stacy gave some GREAT CD recommendations. I've checked several out at the library and my girls have really enjoyed them, including dd-3.5; she loves it. It's a great age to do this stuff. CDs/music is the way to go at this age.

There are also some interactive websites listed.

I'm not crazy about Muzzy. I think the CDs listed in that thread are better and much more fun than Muzzy.

See if your library has any of the French stories on tape.....Goodnight moon, three bears, etc.
HTH,
