Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My dd (9) is a prolific writer, unfortunately, she one horrible speller! (very right brained ). She is getting more and more concerned that things are spelled correctly, but I am going batty at the constant "how do you spell this?" questions. It's practically every word when she is writing something (and when she doesn't ask, I realize she should have!

Putting her on the computer to write everything isn't feasible (besides, she loves to handwrite - letters, stories, etc), so I would love to give her some ownership of this problem with something handheld she can use. Basically, I need something that is *like* what you get on Word or similar programs - a list of words that could be the intended word, so she can pick one. I'm guessing then a definition would be good? (Don't know, never needed to do this before! )

Does anyone have something like this they can recommend? Does it work for even *batty* spellings? (like today "keep" was "cop" then changed to "cep" before she asked me how to spell it - I know, I'm asking for a lot here )
