My middle child, ds is 5 1/2. Today I had him dictate to me what he did last week at the Florida Museum of Natural History, Megalodon exhibit. I typed it exactly word for word and included his very cute mispronunciations. Is this a mistake? Should I correct all the pronunciation so it is all spelled correctly and leave the grammar alone or should I "fix" everything?

My very personal opinion -- If it is an "official" dictation for "school," I would correct misponunciations while leaving the grammatical mistakes alone. If you think of the exercise as more of a "scrapbook moment," then I would leave it as is.
