Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How does one go about doing this? My oldest loves English, literature, etc. so she has taken several Seton courses (at her request). They do a great job of teaching the students to analyze things from a Catholic point of view. But I don't know how to do this? Does anyone have any tips? I don't have time to read everything with my children and so I would like to prepare them a bit.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread because I think this area is a weak spot for me. Thanks for starting the thread, Lisa.

Peace,
Nancy

My girls are young but i thought i'd get a head start on this. I ordered Teaching the Classics dvd/syllabus and i watch a little at a time. It's 4 dvd's i think, altogether. I found excellent reviews on it and so far, i like it.
