Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

How exciting! My welcome email said they'd be mailing out the seeds third week of march. I think they are coming from Canada, so perhaps we will have them by April? Plenty of time to plan (in case anyone actually does that!LOL!).

How is everyone going with their tomatosphere project?

We received the seeds last week and began the project this morning. Started our journals and our investigation predictions.

We planted ours last week and have germination results already. Doubt we will be doing anything more with them since we won't be around this summer to tend them.

Yes, it was. Amazingly so. We planted them in one of those mini greenhouses with the peat pots and it was like within a couple of days they had suddenly sprouted. Then we turned around a couple days later and they were all several inches tall and overgrowing their container!
I am definitely getting one of these little greenhouses next time I need to start seeds for a garden!

They are still accepting registrations on the Tomatoshpere site. There is a link to it at the beginning of this thread. We just registered and will get our seeds mailed out within a few days.

I thought someone else from up here in the north might still like to participate.
