Thanks, MacBeth! I pulled up this picture today that I had taken in October. We are doing the Beatrix Potter unit and talking about rabbits, squirrels, etc. We were talking about what they use to make their nests. If you look way up in one of our trees, you can see peices of white stuffing in the nest. This little guy was quite persistent. Hope you all enjoy!

Look carefully at your original photo...it looks like she has been nursing, and in TX, October is not too late for a litter. A guess, or course, but I think I'm right .
