Robert Krampf at The Happy Scientist website, is starting a new microscope series. The first video is up... all about microscopes, what the pieces are called, how they work, etc. There is a printable worksheet to go with the video.

He plans to do an extensive series with his new video microscope. My dc oohed and ahhed over all the organisms he showed in the first program.

This series is available to members only, but membership is only $20 per year, or $10 through the Homeschool Buyers Coop. If you don't join, he still has plenty of really cool science stuff available for free.

Thanks for posting this! We joined a while back but haven't kept up because my boys weren't as impressed as I thought. My DH works most of the day on a microscope though, so they might be a lot more interested in this since Daddy does it

We decided to sign up :) for $10 can't go wrong. We are doing a unit on Microscope right now, so excellent timing.
