We'd like to see some of your latitude guesses. It seems we're off on some of our guesses

Do you want just latitude guesses or actual site guesses, too?
Our latitude is around 23 degrees 30 minutes North- right along the Tropic of Cancer, which we thought was cool.
I was hoping more people would post their actual location guesses - Mary G. and I posted ours on one of the other threads. I thought we had decided to start doing that after the equinox.
The guesses so far:
Mystery #6 - South Pole
Mystery #7 - Masqat, Oman
Since it's now April we should start thinking about how to go about making our official guesses. So Lissa, or anyone else how are we supposed to go about submitting the guesses? Are we going to do it as a group? Or do we have to do it as individuals?

We think Mystery Class #1 is somewhere around the city of Pristina, which is the capital of Kosovo. We had narrowed it down to Pristina based on our latitude & longitude, and we were so excited this morning to see Clues 2 and 3 backing up our guess! (We are catching up after letting it slide for a couple of weeks...)
For Class #1's latitude, we have 21.17 E.

Oh, good point!! I forgot about that part. We have to submit as a group. Let me look up our official group name and password! LOL, I'd better pass that info along to the rest of you because I'm bound to be preoccupied with other things any day now!

Hmm, OK, I just searched EVERYWHERE for our regsitration info and it seems to be hiding from me. However, it doesn't look like we need the password to submit our guesses. I am pretty sure that I registered our group as "4 Real Learners."
Here's the link for how to submit our answers: Checklist
If I go AWOL y'all should appoint someone to submit the info according to the checklist instructions. But we have until April 21 so I should have time to join back in the fun after the baby is born!

Here's the clue for this week for location #3:
"In our state you can build a snowman ...
...and go snorkeling in the same day."
Can it snow in Hawaii?

I found this on the web:
I would like to know if it can snow in Hawaii??
The answer is "yes". It snows here every year, but only at the very summits of our 3 tallest volcanoes (Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and Haleakala). The snow level almost never gets below 9000 feet in Hawaii during the winter, but since these mountains are taller than 13,000 feet, 13,000 feet, and 10,000 feet, respectively, they get dusted with snow a few times a year. It rarely stays on the ground for more than a few days though.
Although the rest of the island chain enjoys warm tropical weather the entire year-round, there have been "freak" cold storms a few times this century that have brought local snow storms down to as low as 3000 to 4000 feet. This snow has melted very quickly, however.
