Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I would second a recommendation for NOAA's site. I am such a weather geek - and love that site. I have commented before on how much time I spend looking at the forcast and outlook maps. It's pretty amazing. They do a great job with the visuals - that change as you scroll over them for new times. We are currently watching the big storm that is rolling through the midwest over the next few days.

Just spent the morning at NOAA's Earth System's Research Labratory on a field trip. It was great - very informative, especially since we are working on both Meteorology and the Journey North here at home. A lot of overlap.

We've lived here over 20 years and I hadn't bothered to visit before. Since they have several laboratories around the country, I'm mentioning it here so that if you have one nearby, you too can consider a tour and visit.
