Hi Ladies , I'm thinking to purchase this book titled Go Wild: 101 things to do outdoors before you grow up our library does not have it and so far have not read a review of it . I am hoping perhaps some of you have seen it , used it or at least heard of it .
I also was thinking of ds14 is this a bit young for him ? He is into outdoor do it yourself survival very much . I'd like tpo get him a book . any ideas if this go wild book is age appropriate ? Thanks , Roxie

I don't know anything about that book, but my 14 yo son is very much into survival also. He has a few favorite resources that he can recommend (when he gets here next week)if you like.
I do know that he really likes a book called the SAS Survival Handbook, and one called Wilderness 911.
He also really enjoyed Thomas Elpel's books (Botany in a Day, etc) especially one called Participating In Nature.

Wilderness 911(this one is more geared to treating injuries, etc in the outdoors)

Oh Thank You Theresa ! my brother used to be into a man named Tom Brown . I'm not sure if his books are evn in print any longer .
I am going to go look up these survival books now on the library site . Thanks so much ! Rox
