Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am looking for suggestions for outdoor activities for Raef for this time of year. Our yard is so messy with all the rain and mud. I had envisioned fun afternoons of snow angels and sledding and making snow sculptures but our New England winter has been anything but winter. I have been taking him out for stroller walks when he is very tired, and to play in the yard but it is so wet and muddy. Now the cold is coming but still no snow to speak of - just cold frozen mud. Any ideas for things to do to help use up some of this amazing little boy energy?????
Thanks,

I feel for you. My 4yo dd is going bonkers with all the rain and mud. One thing that helps is getting a pair of "mud boots" and just letting them go. I also am lucky to have a covered porch that she can do out-doorish activities on, like chasing a rubber bouncy-ball (aka superball), etc, when it is just too yucky out. That helps burn some energy without tearing down the house. Do you have some sort of space like a garage or porch or patio where ds can let it all out?
