Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hey Mary K!

What grade or level? Are you looking for a text, or some excellent living book suggestions?

I'm looking for living books. My daughter is in 8th grade, but any level would be fine since I like to have things around for my older daughter(15) and my younger children.
Thanks,
Mary

OK, Mary, I have quite a few on my Physics page, but here's a quick list of my favorites (some are more living than others)...

Forces of Matter by Michael Faraday (from his Christmas lectures for school children). Read it aloud.

The Chemical History of a Candle by Faraday. Ditto.

Sun, Moon and Earth

Archemedes and the Door to Science

Mad Scientist Club books (these are very boy-oriented, but fun!)

If I think of more, I'll post!
