Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

One of the gifts I'm making my daughter (14yo) for Christmas is a winter nature journal. I'm looking for any websites or book recommendations you might have that specifically discuss nature study during the winter?

We have a book by Jim Arnosky called Sketching Outdoors in Winter. I did not find it on Amazon to link.

I'll have to search later but sometime ago Theresa linked to a website that showed how to draw a tree. I think it might have been a lesson by Leslie Clare Walker (did I get her name in the right order?)
