Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My ds 10 has requested a science workbook curriculum. I'm looking for something which he can largely complete on his own. I'm considering Seton yr 4. Other than that I haven't a clue. I don't want anything which is top heavy on creationism.

Can you help???

I'm interested in hearing others' replies here as well.... For some reason (my own public school experience??? even though I always received good marks), I just do not feel as confident in the realm of science without a specific guide as I do in other areas (all the other areas!).

My first thought (until I looked again at his age) was the Behold and See from CHC, which I think is really intended for 3rd grade - but perhaps it's something that he could definitely do 'on his own' and would allow for rabbit trails on particular personal interests? Just a thought.

I've not seen the Seton Science books recently and can't recall what all I thought about them, so can't offer any insight on that one.

After a little research and questioning my son, we decided to go with Singapore since. Hopefully it will fit the bill. My second choices were Apologia or A Beka.
