I put a little basin to try and attract birds in my "bird and butterfly garden" (which isn't much of anything yet, as some new plants are succeeding, some not! A first-time gardener here!), and all I am attracting is swarms of wasps!! I did plant some bee balm, is that it? Though there were a few wasps and no birds even before that.
