On the subject of Mars, would anyone have any recommnedations? My ds10, is starting to become very interested in space, particularly Mars. I am putting together a unit topic for him and I'm not tooo sure where to start.

Erin, did you check out the NASA Mars Education site link that accompanies the poster Cindy spotlighted? They have some pretty interesting looking activities on Mars.

Even though I had other ideas of things to study, Mars and the Planets seem to keep slapping me in the face with Wonderful Teachable Opportunities. This thread is oh-so timely!
