Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I am sharing this idea everywhere this morning because we had such a great time with it.

You can check it out on my blog.

Even your littlest learners can do this!

That is an awesome idea. My kids usually need some sort of direction on nature walks, or else they don't really look for things.

It is a great idea - perfect for this time of year as there are still so many colors around.

Why don't we do it on Friday?

Wouldn't it be fun to create seasonal ones with the tones appropriate to each time of year? The warm hues of sutumn, icy ones for winter, fresh greens for spring, and the brights of summer....oh, so fun...and something we can do in the air-conditioning until August fades away...my nature mantra right now is "September is coming, September is coming..." I'm starving for the outdoors, but the baby, toddler, and nursing mom in 100 degree heat just doesn't work!

Great idea! I'm going to try that out...I confess to be very bad at the whole nature walk thing, so maybe this will help with that.
