What started out as a short walk around our yard turned into a lovely frog hunt at our pond.

My two younger boys 5 and 7 started out on a tour with me of our yard looking at the budding leaves and discussing which trees would be green sooner, when one thing lead to another.

We soon found ourselves wondering in the bush towards our pond (more like a slough) trying to find where the frogs were. They were croaking like mad. We went all the way around to the otherside and that's where we found them. We stayed for about 10 minutes watching them. What fun!

I promised the others children we'd go back tomorrow and stay longer. Maybe we'll bring lunch. It's finally decided that it's spring here.    The snow is all gone.    I have a feeling this is going to be a regular occurance.
