Please...I need prayers today. We are a low income family, and I have had my last 2 children on medicaid, this pregnancy would be no different. However, I am just feeling so vulnerable because my caseworker is giving me the runaround about my case even though I have done everything right and I know that I qualify. Nobody in the office would help me, and they won't let me make an appointment to see my worker (they only do things through the phone and mail). There was aparently a huge mix up (on their end) that could be easily be straightened out if they would listen on the phone. Not to mention the fact that they treat me like I'm stupid. It's frusturating to be treated like I'm unintelligent just because we are low-income. Anyway, please just pray for a quick resolution and that someone will care enough to listen when I call, I am already 21 weeks along and haven't seen my doctor yet...(I started the application process at least 6 weeks ago)
::sigh:: I just feel helpless!!!

Oh Andrea - We have been there. It is so frustrating when they treat you like dirt. We are on medicaid right now and it is hard. They do not call back and they are slow but if you are slow you are cut off. I will pray for you all.

Oh, Andrea, that is so frustrating. I actually had the same experience once when I was trying to prove to them I did not qualify (I was made to apply by another agency). It was so degrading. And, that to me, is so rude.....and so un-Christ-like.

I am so sorry you have to go through this at a joyful time. I will ask St Joseph to intercede for you and get through all of that ridiculous red-tape and rudeness.

I am glad you came to us so we could carry you in prayer.
