Janice, my MIL, was diagnosed with uterian cancer 2 weeks ago. She had surgery on Friday to perform a complete hysterectomy. During the surgery, they found the cancer had spread throughout the pelvic area. Tehy took out what they could. This cancer is rare and very aggressive and does not typically respond well to chemo. I think the plan is to start chemo in 2 weeks when all the lab work is back and she has rested some from the surgery.

She is 73, and does not have any weight or muscle mass to spare, so we are all concerned the toll chemo will take.

We are obviously praying for a miracle, but more importantly that she enjoy the rest of her life.
