If you have a few moments, please pray for me. On Monday I went to a dentist who started a root canal.....and, after much "poking" was unable to remove the nerve to my tooth. I was in worse pain leaving his office than I was going in. And the past day or so has been agony, despite pain meds. Add to this that I am 7 1/2 months pregnant.
Today I have an appt. with an endodontist who will do emergency measures to get me some pain relief.
Usually I have good pain tolerance, but this nerve pain has really overcome me.

Oh, you poor thing! I know what you are going through! Right after I got married I had to have a root canal. The pain was unbearable, AND it didn't go away after the procedure. So, after return trips I went to an endodontist who discovered they did the wrong tooth!
Praying for you on this solemn day and offering up my sufferings for you.

Praying for you! Just last year I went through the same thing -- the first dentist didn't know what he was doing and I was in more pain and discomfort; I went to a second endodontist, a specialist who does only root canals and has done 3000+ in his career so far; he worked on it for 15 minutes and was done, and I've been pain-free since. Praying that your new endo will know exactly how to help you.

I have such sympathy for root canals--I had 5 between ages 10 and 11. I'm praying your new endo is up to the job!

I am so sorry. I have had several root canals and they are absolutely no fun. I am praying for you. I hope the endodontist's work brings you lots of relief. Pain is not only *painful*, it is exhausting as well.
