I feel like I am always taking from this forum and not giving enough back, but...
I would appreciate it if you say a little prayer for me and my family this week. I have always had a problem with depression, and lately things have been getting bad again, as a result of first trimester queasiness, hormones, fatigue... dh being away a lot, my special needs 10 yo becoming a lot more parenting-intensive again, the babies not sleeping, and, well, February.
Dh is out of town this week until Friday, and we have not started out on the right foot. One of the babies was up for 3 hours last night, and my 10 yo had a complete meltdown today which I handled badly. I am not quite sure how we are going to make it to Friday afternoon, except with a lot of divine help.

Angela, I will offer my tiny bit of suffering (Luke is not nursing again today!) for your much greater need. Can you ditch all plans and just be together? Rest? Watch a movie together?
We will also remember you in our Chaplet which we'll say right after I leave the computer in a few minutes.

I agree with Erica, just chill for a bit if you can manage it and not feel like you're losing your grip  Maybe make this time a beginning of Lent slow-down!

Angela, I am praying. Try to nap if you can and do take those b vitamins. They are so helpful with the depression, especially in the first trimester.
Regarding giving/taking, a wise woman once told me that you bless people when you allow them to pray for you.

Thank you all. I can't prove it was your prayers that sent our temperature up to 42 degrees this afternoon (yesterday afternoon it was about 10), but it did improve everyone's mood. I am holding together a little better tonight than I was this morning. Now if I can just get Jake to sleep tonight...
