Before the boards close for the beginning of Lent, I wanted to ask for prayers.
My husband lost his job in the fall. His last day of work was Nov. 1 (of all days!!). The company he worked for was sold, and everyone was terminated. 
It's been 4 months now, and he still hasn't found a job. He's had an occasional side-job, but even those have been few-and-far-between. 
Needless to say, the atmosphere around here is not fun. Not even peaceful. It's been very hard on all of us. Dare I say I'm feeling desparate??
Please pray that he finds something soon, very soon! He sends out his resume every day, sometimes to 50 or so companies, but no one has picked him up.
He has an interview with a temp agency in DC on Wednesday. They help to place senior-level employees. The only jobs that he's come across otherwise are for entry-level positions, and the salaries are nowhere close to providing for a large family.

Thank you all for your caring responses. I'm really grateful.
Dh has received several calls this week - what a difference from the near-silence of the last 4 months!
I wanted to ask for prayers for 2 specific interviews:
Tomorrow (Sat) morning.
Monday afternoon.
The first one I am really unsure about, for a # of reasons. The primary ones are it's 1 1/2 hours away (without rushhour!  ) and it's not likely to be an adequate salary. But I'm open to the Lord doing something here. 
The second one is, well, unknown. At least in terms of what they're really looking for. An agency (head-hunter) contacted him about the position.
Anyway, if you could pray....

Oh, I forgot to add that I have been praying for the various requests here as they come up, even if I've not had the chance to reply to individual ones.
