Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Please pray for our adoptive children and the entire process. We are simply waiting for the Haitian government at this point. Politically things are not good in Haiti and it is causing adoptions to be slowed tremendously. Please pray for the softening of hearts of those involved to push through the paperwork so that Katiana and Raphael can come home, and that all the children who are waiting to be received by families can leave. Sadly, according to our Haitian agency, the government would rather see children dying in the streets than on planes to families.
Your prayers are powerful, and much appreciaited.
Thank you.
God Bless,
Wendi

How frustrating for you!! Definitely prayers for this, especially since you are doing such a loving thing! May those children come home to your arms soon.

What an incredibly sad situation. I will pray for all the children especially your two. Their names are beautiful.

Our family is praying that God's abundant grace will infuse this situation, Wendi. It is so frustrating that the welfare of children and good ole common sense are often in short supply during adoption processes. Your efforts and patience are commendable.

God bless,

Wendi,

We adopted five years ago from Guatemala. I know how you feel waiting and wondering about governments. I will pray for you and can't wait to hear about your precious little ones coming home to you.

Love and prayers,

Marybeth and family
