Oh, from one who just left an ER (me) to your sweet daughter who's still there, prayers are on the way! Please tell her we're thinking of her and praying for her relief! It's so hard when our kids are in pain... Hang in there, mom.

Oh, Kathleen! Yikes! Praying for all of you! That happened locally.......her son was at a U hospital fighting leukemia.....and she went into preterm labor.......and so had TWO sons to visit in the hospital

Keep us updated........can't wait to met your new little one!

Any news Kathleen? I had emergency surgery to have my appendix removed when I was in 7th grade.

Will pray again tonight and tomorrow at church for healing from the surgery.

Just got home from the hospital. Sophie came through surgery with flying colors. She is resting in Recovery with her Daddy. She may be able to come home tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your prayers. I felt so peaceful and calm throughout the day and I have no doubt I have all those praying for us to thank.

I'm off to throw my weary pregnant self into bed (beside the 20 month old).

Thanks everyone....part of me is breathing a sigh of relief, but I'm still not mentally ready for the baby to come. My MIL is usually the go to person for children watching when a new baby is coming. Luckily, I have done all of my laboring with previous babies after bedtime and it hasn't been an issue, however this time I really just feel like we need a Grandma around. My midwife even made a point of mentioning that we "need" my husband available. We are planning our fourth homebirth and our reliable Grandma is out of state at her husband's mother's funeral. She should be back by Tuesday...perhaps by then I can "feel" ready.

Thanks again for all the prayers...I think I'll post another request for a safe delivery.
