We just started the evening Rosary at our house again. I know how much saying a nightly Rosary does for our family, how much more united we are, how much less arguing and fighting there is. But somehow we *get busy* (read: get lazy) and rationalize our way out of it at times. We tell ourselves that the kids need to go to bed earlier (well then, we need to start the Rosary earlier). We tell ourselves how much we have to do (this is true; it is hard to stop and sit down, even just for 15 minutes) and that we can't spare the time to pray.
But the prayer has been so beneficial to our whole family and in so many ways. Can you please pray that we make a habit out of praying the rosary and stick to the habit? We want to form good habits in our children. We need then, to start with ourselves, no?

Tina,
I will pray for you. I know how hard it is to get into the habit. We sometimes rationalize it away as well.

Dear Tina - I am praying for you. We are struggling with the same thing - my kids actually want to say the rosary - but I am usually asleep on the sofa, battling the nausea! My husband is great at trying to keep it going. I feel so bad because I seem to have dropped our Angelus 3x a day too - because I am still just struggling through the day with constant morning sickness
Hugs and prayers.

Prayers for you and your family. I love praying the Rosary as a family - my husband is the strong one here - he calls us together and reads the "Saint of the Day" and then we pray the Rosary.

I'll pray and ask that you pray for me too? I have to battle my children and my dh on this and, sadly, lose out far too often.
