Ladies, you please say a little prayer for protection and peace for me tonight. My husband travels with his business and is out of town and I got a really disturbing call tonight from someone asking for him (by name) and then they became really annoyed when I woudln't give out his cell phone number when I asked them who they were or what company they were with. He said will he be home in an hour and I, knowing that he wouldn't asked again who it was and they hung up on me.

Normally I'm not too worried about things like this and I'm not too much tonight either, I would just like some prayers. I've gone through, locked the house up tight and prayed the Word concerning safety over my home and family, would you please join me?

Thanks Cay. It really makes me think about my online security with my blog and using my kids' names and such. I know some of you use nicknames... I've thought about it but maybe its something to consider again. I am alone 5 out of a week and my kids are pretty trusting by nature because "I" am so careful about who we spend our time with, but I just never even considered online stuff... I wonder what comes up when I google my name.

I'm well. I didn't sleep the best on the couch but there were no more phone calls. My husband cant figure out who it would be. I did dream that whoever it was called back this morning. I checked my caller id and it said unknown name unknown number so that doesn't help me much. Dh wont be home again until Friday and he'll have been gone 9 days! I can't wait for him to get home. The kids miss him and so do I, but with the weather the way it was in the south he couldn't get back up here. He was in TX and the loads in OK back to MN were postpooned a few days because of the ice storm so he went back to AZ and then back to TX and is now heading home.

I'm so thankful that we own our own company though because now he'll be able to take some extra time to be home with the kids.

Thank you again for the prayers last night. I got out my Bible and read through my readings for today and just kept reminding myself that fear was not from the Lord and asking the Holy Spirit for wisdom and discernment.

I've only just seen this. I'm so glad everything was ok.

Just to go back to the point about nicknames etc -- I would definitely not use your surname or your kids' real names on your blog. It's unlikely anything would happen as a result, but it's not worth taking the risk. Plus, it's fun to choose nicknames!

I've been stumped on nicknames for days... I like the nickname idea and my daughter already has a name that we call her but the boys... hmmm I am stumped. Maybe I'll get them involved and see what they like.
