Hi everyone,
My sister called a little while ago. My mom fell at a restaurant and landed on the knee where she had the full-knee replacement.
She is on morphine currently and awaiting an x-ray.
I tried to find the old post referencing the initial prayer request I sent back when she had the surgery but I couldn't find it. Anyway, just to recap, my mom's health isn't the best. She'll also turn 63 on Friday.
Please keep her in your prayers.
Her name is Suzanne.

Thank you, all.
My mom will be going into surgery today, CA time at noon or 1.
The break is clean femur break above the implant so the docs will be putting in a metal pin.
I've been encouraging my mom to sell her place and move closer to us...yesteday morning, I distinctly prayed to "make it clear to us what to do."
This morning, I spoke with her, encouraged her to again reconsider moving and she joked, "Well, St. Paul had to get knocked off his horse..."
Anyway, better run. Today is sweet Joseph's 6th birthday (please consider leaving him a birthday message on my blog) and we also have basketball camp.

My mom is currently in surgery - even though the original plan was for noonish - it got pushed to now.
