On Friday morning I and our 4 children (8,8,6,5 ) will leave our home here in Iowa for a new home in North Carolina. DH has been there for 8 weeks, so we are very grateful for reuniting. I am fearful of getting lost or overwhelmed in traffic, with no co-pilot. I am notorious for getting mixed up with directions.
This is also the beginning of our homeschool life--the last day of "school at school" was last Thursday and we are so excited!
Will you please say a prayer for a safe trip and that I will be guided on the right path?

How exciting, Liz!
You should look through the archives of Lissa's blogs to read about her recent cross-county adventures. She travelled from Virginia all the way to California by herself with her 5 children (including an infant)!
I think your trip is a fantastic way to begin your homeschooling life!
