Hey y'all --
if you can, please say a prayer for my almost-5 yo godson who is going in for eye surgery tomorrow, Friday the 20th. He has neurofibromitosis which causes (usually benign) tumors to form. Well, he's having one removed near (or behind) his eye, which causes him to barely be able to see out of his eye.
The little guy is going in at 7:30 a.m. (mountain time), surgery 8:30-10:30 and then an hour or so of recovery and then he'll be home.

David seems to be holding his own -- he's a real trooper. This is one of the boys my bro/SIL adopted from Guatemala at the age of 2, so he had a rough start....
The op took 2 hours and then they were home by mid-afternoon. He was a bit mopey, but once he saw his siblings  -- he thought it was pretty cool that they were "serving" him for a change.
