A friend of mine delivered her child this morning, stillborn at 23 weeks. She and her husband named him Michael and baptised him in the quiet of their hospital room. (They didn't call the docs in when she delivered.) They spent a few quiet moments with their child. The mother is of course in much need of prayers.

Gosh, this must be so hard for them....Michael and his parents are in my prayers tonight!

Praying...I said the Saint Michael prayer earlier this evening...now I know why I was led to do this.
How sad. I hope they feel a little comfort knowing that we're all holding them up in prayer.

Oh, how sad, Amie. I'm so sorry. I have lifted them in prayer. May they be comforted by His incredible peace in His perfect time. This has to be the worst kind of aching heart ever imaginable.

We have a Michael (Miguel) that was born at 5 months stillborn too. It was/is heartbreaking for hubby and I and we still remember him and talk about him even though we had 4 kids after him.
Will be praying for this family.
