Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My sister just moved into a new house. Over the past few nights, her car has been broken into, and last night, she heard someone attempting to enter her garage. Her husband is out of town for 6 weeks and she's home alone with her two little ones (ages 3 and 18 months). My dad is coming to stay with her tonight, but obviously she's still frightened. She suspects the teenagers down the street, and thinks that all they want is electronics from the cars, but still...

Anyway, please pray for her. I wish we could help, but we live so far away. She has chronic depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, and things like this are really hard for her to deal with... in addition to being scary for anyone!

Praying, and will try to remember especially at times I wake during the night (which is usually several times a night).

Peace,
Nancy

Angela,
We will pray for your sister, esp. during our Rosary this evening. May her Guardian Angel protect her!!

Angela,

She is definitely on our prayer list -- the poor thing, especially with dh out of town. As Jennifer said, may her Guardian Angel protect her and hers.

I am so sorry that she is going through this. It certainly is frightening. I will pray.

Thank you all for your prayers! My sister called me this morning to tell me that the police arrested the culprits last night. What's sad is that apparently it *was* the teenagers up the street, and when they were stopped, they also had dr*gs in the car.

It's just so sad that it had to be these kids. My sister says none of the parents are ever home.

What a sad and scary situation! We will pray for these kids and for your sister's peace of mind.
