I lit a candle for you, Elizabeth, after Mass....after begging God incessantly since last night to put you into labor before tomorrow morning 
...and, I got to thinking, wouldn't it be wonderful if lots of us lit a candle for you??
So, if you can, get back to your church and light a candle.........or, even a blessed candle at home!

No blessed candles. But I lit my St. Joseph candle from the Mexican grocery and set my St. Therese statue next to it to remind me to pray for their intercession.
She'll be born soon!

This is a beautiful idea, Chari. We have a very special candle we light when praying especially hard for something. It is lit, and we are praying.

As I light our "altar" candles for rosary, I will think of Elizabeth and offer the intention for her. You mean so much to us. I am so indebted. Lord, bring on that baby!

Tomorrow we are going to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine, which is a couple of miles from my home. We will light a candle by the Blessed Virgin for Elizabeth.
