Could you ladies say a prayer for my husband, please? He's just completely overwhelmed. At work they are implementing a new system and he's swamped and frustrated. We're re-doing our kitchen and while it's going well it's a lot of work for him. To top it off his parents are coming to visit next week. It's not that we don't get along with them it's that we don't really have a relationship with them. We last saw his dad over 2 years ago and his mom more than 1.5 years ago. We talk to them only occasionally and his mom can really get on his nerves.
He told me this weekend that he's really discouraged that his faith isn't stronger. He's the kind of guy that wants to understand everything and while he knows that isn't possible he feels like he hasn't even taken/had the time to pursue it (b/c of work). He sets lofty goals for himself and is very all or nothing. He very much wants to go to adoration weekly but hasn't worked it into his schedule. I suggested not committing to a time (that he would see as one more thing to do) but to treat himself to sometime with Jesus...even just 15 minutes once or twice a week to get started. There is a church with perpetual adoration very close to his office. Please pray that he can find that time....I think it would make a world of difference.

More prayers...sometimes our beloved husbands really have a lot to handle, don't they?
Even five minutes with Jesus will help his peace of mind. I'll pray for your husband, and hope he can find a bit of time to swing by church this week.
