My mom is having surgery today to have a cyst and her thyroid removed. Four of my five sisters are at the hospital now and I will be going tomorrow morning to take her back to her house and stay with her until Sunday afternoon. She's been very unsettled about this surgery all along so please pray for her today. THank you.

Thank you all for your prayers. I am currently at my mom's house with her. She's resting in front of HGTV (her favorite  ).
The surgery took longer (4 hours) than we originally expected, but she's doing great. Apparently her thyroid was quite large. I think the closing up was what took awhile.
I will stay with her tonight through tomorrow around 3pm and then one of my sisters is coming over for the night tomorrow.
Thank you for your prayers. Please keep my little family in your prayers as well. My dd (almost 9) is hitting a new phase of separation anxiety and what seems to me a surge of emotion and hormones (a new post in and of itself!). She had a really hard time with me leaving this morning.
