It might be nothing, but my sister Denise (not the one with cancer) left the house (she is temporarily living with my parents) early this morning to go to her new job. It is a teaching job, and they had a meeting an hour away in Winchester, Virginia. She hasn't known anyone out there for more than a week or two so it seems unlikely that she went out after work. In addition, she hasn't called in (and she always eats dinner with my parents) and it's been over 5 hours since they thought they'd see her. She does own a cell phone but it is not answering right now. It's all a little weird.

All this to say, would you please pray for her safety and my parents' peace of mind?

Thank you so much for your prayers! My sister walked in the door about 30 minutes ago and all is well!!

She told my parents (80 and 77 years old) that she was going to be out all day and tonight (there was some teacher banquet thing) but they forgot. My dad had just called the police (who were on their way over) when she arrived.

Thank you all for your prayers -- I'm sure they helped my parents welcome her home without biting her head off!!

I think I'm finally ready to go to bed. You can imagine the adrenaline(?) surge I had from calling 3 hospitals and discussing with my father the appearance of her car so he could tell the police.
