Hi all! It’s late here, so forgive me if this isn’t completely coherent. (And please forgive the cross-posting!) But, in the interest of getting prayers ASAP:
My cousin’s 14-year-old daughter, Bridget, was just diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. She has been given from 2 weeks to 2 months to live. We are storming heaving and pleading for a miracle through the intercession of JPII. Please help us pray! Please pass this on to any prayer chains you may be a part of, any convents (mighty prayer warriors there!), etc.
Also, the family would be very grateful if anyone has a relic of JPII (something he used, etc.) that they would be willing to loan. I know this is a huge request – pm me if you would be willing to help.
And, finally, has anyone seen a prayer asking for JPII’s intercession?

I will be praying and offering my small sacrifices for Bridget and her family every day. May the peace and love of our Lord bring them strength and healing.
Here is a prayer that Elizabeth posted here for Nicole back in Jan:
O Blessed Trinity, We thank you for having graced the Church with Pope John Paul II and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care, the glory of the cross of Christ, and the splendor of the Holy Spirit, to shine through him.
Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy and in the maternal intercession of Mary, he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd, and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is the way of achieving eternal communion with you.
Grant us, by his intercession, and according to Your will, the graces we implore, hoping that he will soon be numbered among your saints.
