Please pray for 18-yo Miguel de Vela, our friends' son. He is undergoing surgery tomorrow on his skull to remove a hematoma which was caused by a bump to the head when they went boating 3 weeks ago and their boat got hit by an outrigger boat. The operation is especially delicate because it will be very near the brain, where Miguel had another surgery 2-3(?) years ago for cancer of the spinal cord (his cancer is in remission).

They found the hematoma while doing his routine MRI for the cancer. His surgery is at 7:30 am tomorrow morning Eastern time. Thank you so much in advance. I'm sure his parents Leo and Doris can use your prayers as well. They've been through so much!

Thanks everyone for your prayers. Just received a text message from Leo that Mico is out of surgery and will *NOT* be spending 24 hours in the ICU -- he will be in a regular room -- which is great news! Means the doctors are not that worried about his recovery. Thank you so much! Will update as soon as we hear more.

Mico is home and recovering. He didn't have to go to ICU and only stayed 2 days in the hospital. Thanks so much for your prayers!!!
