For many years my dh and the owner of a WWII Ercoupe, Norm, have worked extremely hard to restore the plane to its original condition. Norm is a paraplegic past retirement age and after all the work they put in (and it's beautiful) he must sell it  .
Now it seems the original log books are missing. My dh had looked at them once-- they were in a ziplock bag-- but he did not actually make entries in them since they were the originals. Those log books must be found for the plane to have any value. You could not even pay enough to cover all the loving work those 2 and some others put in over the years. But Norm needs to recover at least what he put in for parts and some extra to tide him over.
Please, please say a little prayer.....thank you!!

Asking dear St. Anthony to look around right now, Gwen! My husband is a pilot, so I understand how valuable those log books are. Asking for Our Lady of Loreto to help with the search also.

I know, I improvised. 
When we were moving to PA in 2000 the movers packed my purse. It had everything in it, car keys, checkbook, credit/debit cards, everything. We searched every box more than once and could not find it. We all said the prayer and I added "in the next box" to the end of it. We found it literally in the very next box! A box we had repeatedly searched. My kids were 100% convinced St. Anthony put it in the box.  I was pretty sure myself. 
Praying that you find them right away.

Thank you, you dears who posted here and all those who prayed....but the log books are still lost. Oh I am just heartbroken for Norm and his wife, 2 of the most long-suffering and nice people we could call friends.

I just saw this and am praying for St Anthony's intercession - he is our family's patron saint and all the boys have Anthony in their names.
Praying the books will be found soon.

They just found the log books and everything else there ever was on paper for the plane. Dh just has to fill out all the FAA forms and it'll be ready to sell. Thank you...thank you...thank you!
