I have missed being with you all online but know that I have been praying for you. My left hip was tweaked two weeks ago (pregnancy related) and my computer time became very limited. I'm grateful to be feeling better now yet ask for your prayers as I prepare to have our baby in less than 6 weeks!
Unfortunately, my limited computer time went toward dealing with folks who are not very pleased that I need to cut back on some of my volunteer work. Please pray that I will be protected and not too hurt by hypocrisy and unkindness. Please pray that I will be disciplined and focus on my priorities.
I'm hoping to spend time with all of you later today and tomorrow, catching up! I'm off to my midwife appointment...

Oh, Angie!! I am so sorry! I am sorry for your hip.......and for the general self-centeredness of the world. I wish I could come down there and spoil you with support........what fun that would be!! 
In the meantime, you have my prayers!
And much congratulations as you soon will hold that dear babe of yours!

Well, Chari, not to brag, but I did have the pleasure of a picnic lunch at the park with Angie and her adorable kids last week! She even let me rub her belly  We live over two hours away, but my family had a reason to be in her neck of the woods.
Angie, you looked great! Sorry about the hip and the bizarre behavior of those unwilling to take volunteer work for what it is--a welcome donation. I will pray that you will be protected and not too hurt. Once you see that sweet baby face, the hypocrisy of those few will melt away and you will know that, of course, your family comes first.

Okay........BOTH of you are signed up for cammping next year......july.....put it on your calendar in Jan!!
I need to see you guys in person...........this is taking entirely too long!!
btw..........I am planning a dream trip that includes coming through your area..........not sure what year that will take place...........but, it will!!

Sigh. Been there, done that with the hypocrisy thing. Isn't it disheartening when the very organization that empowered you as a young mother to understand the real meaning of certain ideals, now challenges you when you try to live them? You are called to be a witness, a reminder. Too bad you have to do such a tough jjob while nine months pregnant! Praying for strength, and grace, and wisdom for you. Oh, and for someone to rub your lower back regularly!

It is disheartening, yet not surprising because it is so common. That is the truly sad part. I've been around the block a time or two and know that it only takes a few folks to undermine the best intentions of a group. Sigh again. The good news for me is that there are others willing to stand by me. It is tiring though. This is where I need to grow in strength and not let it get to me. All of your prayers are so important to me!

We did have a great time and the timing was great as well  . Poor Victoria got an earload about this PR topic! Your reassurance and good humor has been such a help.
I'll keep you hanging but I hope to post about lapbooks soon .

Chari...I asked my husband about coming this year and he pulled me back to my/our reality. Next year is sounding awesome! We would love to see you here too! March is a lovely time to visit...gee, anytime is quite nice except July/August might be a wee bit too hot, LOL.

Angie, how are you holding up? Is the hip better? Not poor Victoria, I was blessed to spend the time with you.
Chari, you crack me up. We DO need to meet you. Please do continue with the dream trip idea through Phoenix.
