...but I've lost another set of keys. Your prayers were so effective last time. Would you be so kind to ask St. Anthony to intercede on our behalf again?

Elizabeth! WE are on it!! My mom has lost so many keys over the years...we tried some kind of clapping device and gave her one of those straps to hang them around her neck...St. Anthony helps the best, though....
Praying for you!!

FYI-We stopped losing keys mostly, after we had 5 sets made--we have about 3 sets left.
The magnetic box under the car has saved us more times than I can count too.
St. Anthony, Saint Anthony please come around.....

The problem is that it costs $140 to have a key cut. It has a comupter chip in it. I don't need a computer chip!! Why can't they just make ordinary keys?

I COULDN'T AGREE MORE! We wanted to have a spare key made and obviously didn't when we heard the amount!
Ouch!
Praying here, to my good buddy, St. Anthony...

We have a neat gadget from A Sharper Image. It is a syste for keeping track of thigs like keys, remotes, etc. You put a sensor on your keychain and you have a remote that you can attach to your refridgerator. When you misplace your keys there is a button that sends out a signal that makes the sensor on your keychain beep.
It has been quite helpful! We have one of those computer chip keys too!

Elizabeth, you need to put homing beacons on those things! We've got St. Anthony working for us already, so we can easily just tack on another request.

Nope. But I have cleaned under all the furniture and under couch cushions, thoroughly gutted the mudroom (where the key basket hangs), and turned all my daughers bags and baskets upside down (organizing them in the process). DH says the van key doesn't have a chip in it, so it won't be as terrible as replacing the last keys were (we only found one set last time, so we replaced the other set and made another spare--ds paid for them. I don't think he'll lose those keys again). It's a huge relief to know the van keys can be replaced at the old-fashioned rate. We have had a "talk" about how much time I spend looking for things other people have lost. I'm promised changes in the near future.
Oh, and he's lost some very important videotape. If St. Anthony has a priority list, that's above the keys now.
I found this perfect St. Anthony prayer on Lynn's blog. It's amazing how it covers pretty much all the big prayer intentions in my household right now:
Tribute to St. Anthony
Good St. Anthony, in God's providence you have secured for His people many marvelous favors. You have been especially celebrated, good St. Anthony, for your goodness to the poor and the hungry, for finding employment for those for those seeking it, for your special care of those who travel, and for keeping safe from harm all who must be away from home.
You are widely known also, good St. Anthony, for securing peace in the family, for your delicate mercy in finding lost things, for safe delivery of messages, and for your concern for women in childbirth.
In honoring you, St. Anthony, for the many graces our Lord grants through your favor we trustfully and confidentiality ask your aid in our present need.
V. Pray for us, good St. Anthony
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

We'll lift Mike's intention up, as well.
Once, my lost keys were discovered behind the books on a bookshelf. That really was St. Anthony, because that particular bookshelf didn't get a lot of traffic.
It's good to hear your key is the good old-fashioned kind. At least now you won't break the bank replacing it!
