Hi Friends,
I would be very grateful if you could please pray for friends, a homeschooling family in one of our support groups. Late last evening, their son Teo was in a fatal car accident, and lost his life here on earth. :o( I was just speaking with his mom and little sister a few hours before at our Little Flowers meeting, where we meet at their church.
His mom, Evelyn was just so happy, and talking to us just a few hours before, and now I can’t even imagine the pain the family is in today. It’s mind numbing to me, and I am so paralyzed by sadness for them today. :o( Please pray for the repose of the soul of Teo Moreno. Please pray for the Moreno family….Father Bob, Evelyn (his mom), and their children. May the Lord comfort this family as they go through this tragic time.
Thanks for praying for them. Please know they would be extremely grateful for your prayers. God bless you all, and hold your kids a bit closer today, OK???
Love,
Tracy

I'm sorry. Teo was in college. I'm not sure of his exact age, but have asked a mutual friend if she knows. He was either in his late teens or very early 20's.

Oh, how sad...a friend and I just talked last night about how we should live and appreciate each day as if it were our last. I will be praying and offering sacrifices today for this family.

Tracy,
I am praying for the repose of Teo's soul and for comfort for his family. Our Rosary will be for these intentions tonight.

Here's the story
Here's the story (link above) of Teo's death. It's the headline of the news today. I can make absolutely NO SENSE whatsoever why this happened.
Why was he trying to get away from the police who were trying to stop him? They said on the noon news that this was not a high speed chase, that the police were trying to catch up with him, but that he was going at a high speed.
WHY in the world were his headlights off? Did he do that purposefully, trying to get away from the police?
And WHY was he going so fast???
This is a family whose dad is the priest at this Ukranian Catholic Church. The family is lovely, and wonderful, and this just doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever.
I suppose there will be more news later possibly, but no matter what, my heart is broken for all of them. It seems so senseless now.
