Prayers most appreciated!

Thanks everyone - poor Jonathon feels left out ( son number 4). He is not being confirmed and is not a sponsor.

In our parish in Kellyvile - we live in a Franciscan parish - the Conventual Franciscans. Very nice.

Praying, Leonie!
You know, it is okay for the confirmands to have TWO sponsors......maybe all of the three younger brothers, could surprise Jonathon, and ask him to be their second sponsor. Now, wouldn't that really WOW him!
Most of my kids have two sponsors for confirmation......and TWO saints' names, too!
In fact, my last confirmand, in April, has chosen Clare Ryan, Willa's daughter as one of her sponsors ....she made an excellent choice!
God bless!

Clare was so honored to be Maddalyn Bryans's sponsor since she thinks of her as a beloved little sister. My oldest Liam was his brother Brendan's sponsor. I will be praying for your sons, Leonie -- we had three confirmed last year.

Leonie,
Are you in Father Terence Mary's area?
So pleased to hear that you're not having to do it at the super dome along with every one else!
So are you in Bishop Manning's dioesce then?
Poor Jonathon, how lovely that the boys have asked their brothers. This will be all yours confirmed then?

That's wonderful Leonie, will keep your boys in our prayers - how many boys do you have? (I know of a family who have 8 boys and 1 girl)
Hey Erin, I saw your posting above! I grew up next door to Father Terence Mary(up until I was 9) and my special childhood memory of him was whenever they had the parish statue of Our Lady in their home for a week, our family would go over and say the rosary with their family and I remember as a 5 year girl being in AWE over the fact that this 15 year old boy could say the Litany of Loreto off by heart! (He also married my husband and I)
How long have you been a part of that parish Leonie? - I suppose Father Terence has not been there for quite a while now. Sometimes I wish we were in the thick of Sydney with such a vibrant Catholic life around there. (we are in Brisbane)

Annie
This is so amazing, what was your maiden name? I'll have to remember you to Father Terence Mary when I see him next, which will be at camp in September. Did you know that Father is our camp chaplain for Evans Head? This is our fifth year coming up.

My maiden name is Williams though of course since he married us he knows me by my married name too. No I didn't know he was your camp chaplain, when in September is your camp? I thought it had just past... I don't know what I was thinking of! Oh No, that's right I remember now that Chemai had her children down their late last year for receiving some of the sacraments.
Now isn't this funny, here we are on a thread about Leonie's boys being confirmed and I had a family (who live way in the country) ask me only Saturday past where could they go to have their children confirmed with a Bishop at a homeschooling camp - and I mentioned Evans Head, though I said to this lady that I was sure this year's camp had past.. so I will have to contact her now and tell her that it is in September.

Thanks all for prayers - Anne we have been in this parish exactly one year!
Erin - the youngest three are being confirmed - ages 10-14.
And, yes, Fr Terence Mary is up at the convent here.

What a good idea - I'll check with Fr.
