I guess it's good that people call me and ask for prayers...it shows that they believe God is listening and will show them His will for them and their loved ones. I know I bring more intentions to you than do most of our members, and I am grateful for your prayers.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of my husband's colleague's mother-in-law, who died suddenly yesterday.

Please pray for a wonderful older gentleman, someone who's brought the gift of Irish music to my family and has done the same for countless people over the years. His health is not good, and I'm not even sure what to ask you to pray for, except that God's will be done and that he will continue to be surrounded with love and music for all the days he has left on Earth.

My brother's birthday is today; please pray for him on his special day!

Finally, please pray for my mother-in-law as she works with her doctors to create a treatment plan that meets her needs and helps her stay active, and, if possible, allows all of us to be there in turns to assist her if she needs us.

Update 11/13: My Irish music friend died peacefully in his sleep this morning, surrounded by his loving family. Thank you for praying for him.
