We just found out that my fil is having heart trouble. His heart is enlarged and the beat is erratic. He has been prescribed medication and the plan is to try shocking the heart back into rhythm (I do not know when this is to occur). My mil is understandably concerned, especially since fil is a very active person and is not one to listen when his body is telling him to slow down.

Prayers for them both as they adjust to whatever lifestyle changes his condition will require would be appreciated!

I would also appreciate prayers for dh as he struggles to know how best to support his parents at this time. Having lost my father four years ago to a heart attack, he is worried about losing his own father the same way.
